Terms of use
These are the rules to read before you use Koldash. We have tried to keep them short and clear.

Parties and acceptance
These terms are between Mehmet Konukçu (“we”), who provides the Koldash service, and the person using the service (“you”). By creating an account or starting to use the app, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, do not open an account and do not use the app.
Description of the service
Koldash is an app that runs on Macs with Apple Silicon on macOS 26 and later. It listens to your microphone and your Mac’s system audio on two separate channels (You and Other party), transcribes the conversation live and, when the other party asks a question, suggests sentences you could say in a floating window. When the meeting ends, it prepares a summary based on your purpose.
No bot joins the meeting; there is no integration with apps such as Zoom, Meet or Teams. The service only processes the audio you hear on your Mac; when you use Look at Screen (⌃⌥S), it also processes a single image of your screen, which it does not store. Because transcription and AI suggestions run on the server, an internet connection is required.
Account and security
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
- The information you provide when registering must be accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity carried out through your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, write to us immediately.
- The account is personal and may not be shared with others.
Trial, plans and subscription
Free trial
Each account receives a one-time free trial of 30 minutes, valid for 30 days. The trial also includes an AI allowance.
Plans and prices
Prices are in US dollars. All plans have the same features; only the minutes and the AI allowance differ.

On yearly plans, minutes are loaded every month. In addition to the monthly minutes, each plan includes an AI allowance, which is provided under a fair use policy.
Extra minutes
Extra minutes are a one-time flexible pack: between 90 and 2,000 minutes, at prices starting from $6, valid for 7, 30 or 90 days. They do not renew automatically. When the validity period ends, unused minutes expire.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel your subscription at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your entitlement continues until then. Unused monthly minutes do not carry over to the next month. If you delete your account, your subscription ends immediately without waiting for the end of the period (see termination).
When your minutes run out
When your minutes run out, the meeting pauses and the transcript up to that point is kept. Once you buy minutes, you can continue where you left off. A warning is shown when 10, 5 and 1 minutes are left.
Price changes
We may change prices. Existing subscribers are notified before a change; if you do not accept it, you can cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
Purchases are made in the app or on the website through Polar, which handles payment and invoicing as merchant of record. We do not store your card details.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you purchase the service as a consumer, the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation apply. Koldash is a digital service, and its performance begins with your consent as soon as you purchase it. Under Article 15(1)(ğ) of the Regulation, there is no right of withdrawal for digital content and services whose performance begins immediately with the consumer’s consent. You are informed of this during the purchase.
If the service cannot be provided to you because of a technical problem, you can send a refund request to destek@koldash.app. We will review your request and reply as soon as possible. The remaining entitlements of a refunded purchase are withdrawn.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow these rules when using the service.
Your responsibility to inform the other party
Before transcribing a meeting, it is your responsibility to inform the other party or obtain their consent where required by the law of your location and your organization’s policy. In Türkiye, listening to and recording conversations between persons may fall under Article 133 of the Turkish Criminal Code. The product does not record audio, but it does store the transcript in your account.
Prohibited uses
- Using the service for unlawful purposes.
- Using it in breach of exam or interview rules that explicitly prohibit outside help. You are responsible for any such use.
- Attempting to reverse engineer the app.
- Abusing the service or attempting to circumvent usage quotas.
- Sharing the account with others.
User content and license
All your content, including your templates, the context files you upload, transcripts and summaries, belongs to you. So that we can provide the service to you, you allow us to use this content only to the extent necessary and limited to the operation of the service. Within this scope, content may be passed to the providers the service needs in order to work. The details are explained in the privacy policy.
You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload or that comes up in the conversation, and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
AI output
Suggestions and summaries are generated with AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Suggestions are designed to draw on your preparation and on what was said in the meeting; even so, it is your responsibility to verify output before using it. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the output.
Intellectual property
All rights to the app, the website, the design, the brand and the software belong to us. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify or distribute the software.
Changes to the service, suspension and termination
As we develop the service, we may change, add or remove features. We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal requirement.
You can delete your account at any time, confirming with your password, from your account page on the website or in the macOS app via Settings → Account → “Delete Account…”. When the account is deleted, your active subscription is canceled immediately; no refund is given for the remaining subscription period or for unused minutes. The account can no longer be signed in to; data linked to it is kept for 90 days and then permanently deleted. Details are in the privacy policy.
Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We give no guarantee that it will work without interruption, without errors or correctly under all conditions; transcription and suggestion quality depend on factors such as audio quality, your internet connection and the status of third-party providers.
To the extent permitted by consumer law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use the service; our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the relevant period. Liability for intent or gross negligence, and liability that cannot be limited by law, are excluded from this limit.
Personal data
How your personal data is processed is explained in the privacy policy and the KVKK privacy notice. These documents supplement these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We announce significant changes in the app or by email and update the date at the top of the page. If you continue to use the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Turkish law. For transactions you make as a consumer, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction over disputes. For other users, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction.
